Long hair or short hair for girls

I am Sneha, today I had argument with my boyfriend. I have mid back length hair. Bot too long but I wanted to cut my hair pretty short. But he says girls should have long hair and long hair suits girls who wear traditional wear like me. While short hair suits mostly on western clothes. What do u think about this? Long hair or short hair?

True. I agree. I was telling my boyfriend the samw thing. I had specially liked Akshara hassans bob. It was very short from one side and long from another. He feels it is too extreme for me.
